Sat in the garden on a warm summers afternoon i noticed the shadow of my drinks bottle on my leg and it looked really quite cool. I wondered if i could capture a retro type image and talked my son into holding the bottle for me. I think i have managed to create something that hints at the product but also something that says 'fun in the sun with friends'.

I am Karen, i live on the Wirral in the North West of England. I am a wife and mother, i am a Photographer. I studied art and loved photography, it has now become a way of life. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with my camera and it has brought me success, exhibitions and awards but it has ultimately brought me peace. I am enthralled by light and use my camera to capture that moment of softness or anger, new beginnings or days end, that emotional impact of the light at a given moment on the landscape. I keep going back to the sea and will spend hours waiting so i can make you feel what i feel when i capture a sunrise or a rainy day, a high sea or a calm moon lite night. You will often see me, my camera and trusty tripod...
