The old gate at the entrance to Flaybrick Cemetery in Tollemache Rd Birkenhead, England. Flaybrick Hill Cemetery was a municipal cemetery situated on the Wirral Peninsula, England. The cemetery has been designated a conservation area by Wirral Borough Council, which owns the site. Many stunning examples of Victorian memorial architecture can be seen on the crosses, statues, angels and large vaults.

I am Karen, i live on the Wirral in the North West of England. I am a wife and mother, i am a Photographer. I studied art and loved photography, it has now become a way of life. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with my camera and it has brought me success, exhibitions and awards but it has ultimately brought me peace. I am enthralled by light and use my camera to capture that moment of softness or anger, new beginnings or days end, that emotional impact of the light at a given moment on the landscape. I keep going back to the sea and will spend hours waiting so i can make you feel what i feel when i capture a sunrise or a rainy day, a high sea or a calm moon lite night.
