The rocky coastline of Penmon point in north Wales is wild and rugged, at the end of the point is the Penmon lighthouse and all of the ships, large or small, know to sail to the seaward side of the lighthouse. We watched this small boat cruising back and forth and as the tide turned and the evening sky started to darken towards sunset they headed back to their bearth.
I am Karen, i live on the Wirral in the North West of England. I am a wife and mother, i am a Photographer. I studied art and loved photography, it has now become a way of life. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with my camera and it has brought me success, exhibitions and awards but it has ultimately brought me peace. I am enthralled by light and use my camera to capture that moment of softness or anger, new beginnings or days end, that emotional impact of the light at a given moment on the landscape. I keep going back to the sea and will spend hours waiting so i can make you feel what i feel when i capture a sunrise or a rainy day, a high sea or a calm moon lite night. You will often see me, my camera and trusty tripod...
