Liverpool waterfront taken from the Seacombe Ferry terminal.
In May this year Liverpool will take center stage when the three largest Cunard ships ever built sail into the port, to mark 175 years since the start of Cunard Line’s transatlantic service from Liverpool.
The event cements the city’s renaissance as a cruise destination.
The Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary and Queen Victoria will all be on the river Mersey on May 25th, it will be a sight to behold.
I took this photograph on a cold windy January day, i am looking forward to May and seeing the river full of huge cunard ships.

I am Karen, i live on the Wirral in the North West of England. I am a wife and mother, i am a Photographer. I studied art and loved photography, it has now become a way of life. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with my camera and it has brought me success, exhibitions and awards but it has ultimately brought me peace. I am enthralled by light and use my camera to capture that moment of softness or anger, new beginnings or days end, that emotional impact of the light at a given moment on the landscape. I keep going back to the sea and will spend hours waiting so i can make you feel what i feel when i capture a sunrise or a rainy day, a high sea or a calm moon lite night.
