Penmon Point lighthouse, Trwyn Du Lighthouse. is on the north east coast of Anglesey with views across the mainland, Great Orme and of course Puffin Island. This is a great place to spot dolphins and harbour porpoise in summer. Seals resident to Puffin island are often seen close to the shore around Penmon Point. Taken in the Blue hour, just as the sky started to turn a warm shade of pink you could hear the rock pools trickling as the tide started to go out leaving behind its treasures waiting for the returning tide.
I am Karen, i live on the Wirral in the North West of England. I am a wife and mother, i am a Photographer. I studied art and loved photography, it has now become a way of life. I am lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with my camera and it has brought me success, exhibitions and awards but it has ultimately brought me peace. I am enthralled by light and use my camera to capture that moment of softness or anger, new beginnings or days end, that emotional impact of the light at a given moment on the landscape. I keep going back to the sea and will spend hours waiting so i can make you feel what i feel when i capture a sunrise or a rainy day, a high sea or a calm moon lite night.
